In the upcoming Liga Portugal 2 game between Lusitania FC Lourosa and SC Farense, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Lusitania FC Lourosa vs. SC Farense match originally scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially when accounting for inherent biases. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public perception or promotional offers, while this market relies on individuals directly betting on their beliefs. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison. Discrepancies between the two can highlight potential value opportunities for informed traders, though it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees, of the final result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by the collective actions of all traders participating in the market. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Lusitania FC Lourosa versus SC Farense match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will receive a payout of 1 USDC per share, while shares in incorrect outcomes will be worth 0 USDC.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match tactical announcements, could also prompt traders to adjust their positions. Furthermore, significant shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or social media discussions, could also impact the volume and price action within this market, leading to changes in the implied probabilities for each possible exact score.
