This set of markets focuses on predicting the point differential in the third quarter of a college football game between LSU and Auburn. Each market corresponds to a specific point margin threshold that must be exceeded by either team during that quarter to resolve as a win for that market.
These markets resolve based on the point differential exclusively within the third quarter of the LSU vs Auburn college football game scheduled for October 24, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold that must be exceeded by either LSU or Auburn during that quarter for resolution. If LSU wins by more than the stated margin in the third quarter, the corresponding LSU markets resolve as Yes; if Auburn wins by more than the stated margin, the corresponding Auburn markets resolve as Yes. Only points scored during the third quarter count toward these outcomes. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result of that quarter. If the game fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks, logos, and brand names referenced belong to their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade, expressing their own predictions. If a significant number of traders believe a particular spread is likely, the price will move accordingly, potentially diverging from initial sportsbook lines. It’s common to see differences emerge as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts, offering a unique perspective on the likely outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction format, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing different point spreads for the LSU-Auburn 3rd quarter. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that spread occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likely outcome. Currently, the most active contracts indicate a strong interest in Auburn winning the 3rd quarter by over 10.5 points.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final point spread of the third quarter of the LSU versus Auburn game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics, determining which spread contracts will pay out. Traders who correctly predicted the final spread will receive a payout based on the contract price at the time of purchase, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their investment. The final score will be the determining factor for this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the LSU or Auburn teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favoring one team's playing style, could also impact trading activity. Additionally, any late-breaking news about coaching strategies or team morale could shift market sentiment. Public perception and analysis from sports commentators can also play a role in influencing trader behavior and, therefore, the price of contracts.
