Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price on this market will move accordingly. It's common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts, offering a unique comparison point to conventional betting options.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price fluctuates to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. Higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in the market's accuracy, and the current price provides a snapshot of what traders currently believe will happen in the Vicenza vs. Pisa second half.

This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the second half of the L.R. Vicenza vs. Pisa SC match is verifiable from credible public reporting.
