On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each golfer’s probability of leading after the second round. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular golfer, the price increases, signaling growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the golfer leading after the completion of the second round of the LOTTE Championship will determine the winning outcome. The official LPGA leaderboard will serve as the primary source for verifying the final standings. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result and their positions in this market.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding a golfer’s health, form, or playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Strong performances in the first round will likely cause a golfer’s price to increase, while a poor start could lead to a decline. Weather forecasts also play a role, as challenging conditions can favor certain players over others. Unexpected withdrawals or changes in pairings could also introduce volatility into this market, creating opportunities for informed traders.
