If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate. It’s common to see differences in implied probabilities when comparing this market to external sources.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Louisville City FC or Indy Eleven will score first. As more shares are bought for one outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of shares directly translates to the probability assigned to each team scoring first, and the market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions are incorporated. The current price reflects the collective assessment of all traders participating in this market.
