Two top esports teams compete in a strategic League of Legends match where each map brings its own challenges and tactics. The outcome hinges on which team secures victory on the third map of their scheduled confrontation.
The market resolves to Yes if either LOUD or FURIA Esports wins map 3 of their CBLOL 2026 match scheduled for Oct 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the beliefs of a diverse group of traders. As a result, you may find that the implied probabilities in this market diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets can be more sensitive to nuanced information and less susceptible to biases inherent in traditional oddsmaking.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing possible outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the market’s collective probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the latest information and expectations. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism means the market can react quickly to news and updates related to the LOUD vs. FURIA match, providing a real-time assessment of potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of Map 3 in the LOUD vs. FURIA Esports match. The platform will verify the result against publicly available and trusted sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding contracts for the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or even unexpected roster changes for either LOUD or FURIA could cause significant price movement. In-game performance during the earlier maps of the series, if available before resolution, will likely have a strong impact. Furthermore, broader shifts in public sentiment, fueled by social media or expert analysis, can also drive trading volume and alter the perceived probabilities reflected in this market.
