The outcome depends solely on the regular third-period scoring without considering the overall game result.

Kalshi

The event determines the winner of the third period (excluding overtime) in the NHL game between Los Angeles and San Jose scheduled for October 3, 2026. If San Jose scores more goals than Los Angeles during the third period, the San Jose market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Los Angeles scores more goals than San Jose during that period, the Los Angeles market resolves to Yes. If both teams score an equal number of goals in the third period, the Tie market resolves to Yes.
