Often, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. As a result, you may see discrepancies between the two. It's common for prediction markets to be more accurate than traditional polls or analyst predictions, especially when complex factors are at play. This can be a valuable resource for informed decision-making.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with buyers pushing prices up and sellers pushing them down. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to create a highly efficient and informative forecast.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
