This event tracks offensive performance thresholds in an upcoming professional football game. Bettors can assess whether either team will surpass specific yardage milestones, offering insight into anticipated game dynamics and team strategies.
All markets resolve based on the total offensive yards accumulated by either Los Angeles R or Philadelphia in their Pro Football game scheduled for October 4, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific yardage threshold (250+, 300+, 350+, 400+, or 450+) for each team. If the named team achieves or exceeds its respective threshold, that market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Postponements are accounted for—if the game starts within 48 hours of its original time, markets remain open and resolve per the final result. If the game does not commence within 48 hours of the scheduled start, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of game delays or cancellations.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like public perception or early betting biases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome, the price here will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see this market converge towards what many consider the ‘true’ probability as the event approaches, though discrepancies can still occur due to differing risk appetites and information access.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about whether the total yards will fall above or below a certain threshold. The price of a contract represents the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time forecast. The market depth shows the available contracts at different price points, indicating the strength of conviction among traders.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total yards gained by both teams during the game will be sourced from official NFL statistics. The market will settle to 100 if the actual total yards exceed the threshold represented by the prevailing contract price, and to 0 if it falls short. Traders holding contracts on the correct side of the outcome will receive a payout based on the contract price at resolution.
Several factors could influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries to either the Los Angeles R or Philadelphia, particularly quarterbacks or key offensive players, would likely cause significant price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, especially conditions expected to impact passing or rushing offenses, could also shift the market. Late-breaking reports on team strategies or defensive matchups could also play a role. Finally, large volume trades from informed participants could also cause noticeable price fluctuations as the game draws nearer.
