The event determines which team, if any, scores the first goal in the specified MLS soccer match between Los Angeles Galaxy and Portland Timbers. If either team scores the first goal during regulation, stoppage, or extra time, that respective market resolves to Yes. If the match remains goalless through all periods, the 'No Goal' market resolves to Yes. Own goals are resolved according to the team awarded the goal by official match authorities.
