Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit from the spread, while prediction markets allow bettors to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. The implied probability from this market may differ from sportsbook lines due to varying information sources and the incentive structures of each venue. It’s valuable to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.
Prices for this market on Polymarket and Predict may differ due to variations in trader demographics, liquidity, and market-specific rules. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with potentially varying risk appetites and information sets, leading to discrepancies in how they assess the probability of either team scoring first. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform—currently $5—can influence price discovery. These factors contribute to the observed price differences, even though both platforms address the same underlying question about the LA Galaxy vs. Austin FC match.
