In the upcoming MLS game between Los Angeles FC and Los Angeles Galaxy, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 9:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Los Angeles FC vs. Los Angeles Galaxy match originally scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 9:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell, representing their collective belief about the outcome. You may find that this market’s implied probabilities diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s important to compare both to form your own informed opinion on the likely result of the LAFC vs. Galaxy match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the probability of that score occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that score will increase. Conversely, if traders believe a score is unlikely, the price will decrease. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the LAFC vs. Galaxy match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The market will settle to the share corresponding to the exact final score of the game, as officially recorded. Any potential overtime or penalty shootouts will be included in determining the final score. The resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable data to ensure an accurate and transparent outcome for all traders participating in this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either LAFC or the Galaxy would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest adverse conditions, could also shift expectations. Furthermore, team form leading up to the match, tactical announcements from the managers, and even public sentiment expressed on social media could all contribute to fluctuations in the market. Unexpected lineup changes announced shortly before kickoff could also create volatility.
