These markets track the defensive performance of each team in a specific football game by counting how many times they sack the opposing quarterback. The outcomes depend on whether each team reaches various sack thresholds during the match.
All markets resolve based on the official number of sacks recorded by the specified team during the Los Angeles C vs Los Angeles R Pro Football game scheduled for Nov 1, 2026. Sacks recorded during 2-point conversion attempts are excluded from all counts. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Each market has a specific threshold (e.g., 2+, 3+, etc.) for the designated team; if the team's total sacks meet or exceed that threshold, the market resolves to Yes, otherwise No.
Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook line is inaccurate, the odds on Kalshi will shift to reflect that belief. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of public sentiment about the likely outcome of the game and the teams' ability to generate sacks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes for the number of sacks each team will achieve. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting traders’ beliefs about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to aggregate information and provide a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each scenario.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official statistics for the Los Angeles C versus Los Angeles R game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the total number of sacks recorded by each team during the game, as reported by official NFL statistics. This data will be used to determine which outcome, if any, corresponds to the actual result and trigger payouts to contract holders accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final game statistics.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market before resolution. News regarding key player injuries on either team’s defensive line or offensive line would be significant, as this directly impacts sack potential. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if a storm is predicted, could also affect the game and, consequently, the market. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic shifts announced before the game could also shift trader sentiment. Finally, any late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts could also contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
