This set of markets focuses on whether specific players or teams will score at least one touchdown during an upcoming football game. Each market tracks individual performances, with outcomes determined by actual game statistics.
All contracts in this event are designated as protected, meaning if a player participates in at least one play during the first half but does not participate in any play after the conclusion of the first half—including overtime—they will resolve to the fair price prior to the game's kickoff unless they record the required touchdowns. If a player participates in any play after the first half, the contract settles based on actual statistics, irrespective of first-half involvement. Participation in a play nullified by penalty does not count, and a player who never participates remains subject to the fair price non-participation rule. The protected designation applies only to full-game contracts with an at-least payout criterion. This event considers the full game, including overtime, and passing touchdowns do not count toward the required touchdowns for individual players. Team defense/special-teams selections settle on actual touchdowns, and the player participation exception does not apply to them.
Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those initially set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance action, while this market represents the aggregate belief of informed traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook's line is inaccurate, the odds here will move accordingly. It’s common to see this market odds diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as new information emerges, and can be a useful tool for identifying potential value in either market. Keep in mind that these are distinct venues with different participants.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics, specifically the total number of touchdowns scored by each team in the Los Angeles C vs Kansas City game. The final outcome will be determined by the official game results, and will be verified against credible public sources. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their predictions aligned with the actual number of touchdowns scored.
Several factors could influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Los Angeles C or Kansas City teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable or unfavorable for passing, could also impact trading activity. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic shifts announced before the game could also shift sentiment. Finally, any late-breaking news or analysis from reputable sports analysts could move this market as traders react to new information.
