PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms use the same core resolution logic based on official results from gol.gg with credible reporting as a backup, and consistent handling of cancellations, incomplete matches, and name discrepancies.Primary resolution logic: https://gol.gg/esports/home (with credible reporting as backup)

Core resolution logic:

  • Markets resolve to the winning team if that team wins the match/game as defined
  • Markets resolve to 50-50 for cancellations, matches delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, or incomplete matches where no winner is determined
  • Name discrepancies are resolved based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching
  • Credible reporting is used as a backup source if gol.gg doesn't publish results within 2 hours of conclusion

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Match Canceled: All markets resolve to 50-50 if the match is canceled before any play begins
  • Incomplete Match: If the match begins but isn't completed, markets resolve based on completed portions (e.g., Game 1 winner if only Game 1 was played), or 50-50 if no winner can be determined
  • Forfeit/Walkover: If a team wins due to opponent's forfeiture/disqualification, the winning team resolves normally; if a team withdraws before the start, markets resolve to 50-50
Timing: Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, using official results from gol.gg or credible reporting as backupOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market.
