This market tracks whether any player on either Team WE or FlyQuest achieves a pentakill in Game 5 of their best-of-five series during the Demacia Cup Global Invitational Playoffs. Currently, Polymarket gives a 19.0% probability to “Game 5: Any Player Penta Kill?” and a 19.0% probability to “Game 5: Any Player Quadra Kill?”. Resolution will be determined by data from https://gol.gg/esports/home. Keep an eye on the initial match schedule on October 13, 2026 at 2:00 AM ET, as the start of Game 5 will be the key indicator for this market’s potential resolution.
This market refers to the LoL Quarterfinal 3 match between Team WE and FlyQuest in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 2:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team WE" if Team WE win the match against FlyQuest. This market will resolve to "FlyQuest" if FlyQuest win the match against Team WE. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 13, 2026 at 2:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. Keep in mind that these are distinct sources of information, each with its own strengths.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price will fluctuate, reflecting the evolving consensus. Currently, the market is indicating a certain level of confidence in one team, but this can change rapidly as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-five series between Team WE and FlyQuest in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational Playoffs. The platform will verify the winner based on publicly available game results, ensuring a transparent and accurate resolution process. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the series concludes. Unexpected news regarding player health or team strategies could significantly shift expectations. In-game performance during the initial matches of the series will also be a major driver of price movement, as traders react to how each team is playing. Analyst opinions and community sentiment, while not directly reflected in the market, can also indirectly influence trading activity and, therefore, the odds. Any major upsets or dominant performances could lead to substantial shifts in the market.
