This event group covers the League of Legends match between Team Liquid and LOS in the Worlds Group Stage. Markets range from overall match winner to specific in-game events like Baron Nashor kills and inhibitor destructions. The initial scheduled date is October 30, 2026, with a potential reschedule window.
This market refers to the LoL Round 4 match between Team Liquid and LOS in the Worlds Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Liquid" if Team Liquid win the match against LOS. This market will resolve to "LOS" if LOS win the match against Team Liquid. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The market resolves based on the result of the LOS vs. Team Liquid League of Legends match scheduled for October 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM EDT, as part of the Worlds 2026 tournament. If LOS wins the match, the LOS market resolves to Yes; if Team Liquid wins, their market resolves to Yes. Should the match be postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled before play begins, or forfeited prior to any gameplay, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If the match starts but is later forfeited, the result will be determined by the official outcome declared by the tournament organizer or governing body. Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a more nuanced and real-time assessment of probabilities compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, but prediction markets incorporate the wisdom of the crowd, continuously adjusting as new information emerges and more traders participate. This can lead to differences in implied probabilities, as prediction markets are less susceptible to biases or limitations inherent in sportsbook models. While both aim to predict the same outcomes, the mechanisms and information sources differ, potentially resulting in varying odds for the same event.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either Team Liquid or LOS could significantly shift probabilities. In-game performance during the Worlds Group Stage, including wins or losses against other opponents, will also be closely watched. Unexpected announcements about player health or visa issues could also move the market. Furthermore, major upsets in other matches within the tournament could indirectly affect perceptions of team strength and influence trading activity in this market.
