This market tracks whether both teams will slay Baron Nashor in Game 1 of the League of Legends Worlds Group Stage match between LOS and T1. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to both teams slaying Baron Nashor in Game 1. Resolution will be determined by data from https://gol.gg/esports/home. Keep an eye on the initial game performance on October 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET, as this match’s outcome will directly influence the market’s resolution.
This market refers to the LoL Round 1 match between LOS and T1 in the Worlds Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "LOS" if LOS win the match against T1. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against LOS. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by real-money wagers. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or changing circumstances than sportsbooks, as the price adjusts continuously with each trade.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the LoL vs. T1 match in the Worlds Group Stage. The platform will determine the winning outcome based on publicly available data from the official League of Legends esports channels, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand when the market will settle.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either LoL or T1 could significantly shift the odds. In-game performance during the match itself, such as early game advantages or key objective control, will also be major catalysts. Analyst predictions and public sentiment, while not directly reflected in the market, can indirectly influence trading activity. Major upsets in other Worlds Group Stage matches could also affect perceptions of team strength and impact this market.
