This market refers to the LoL Round 1 match between LGD Gaming and FlyQuest in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "LGD Gaming" if LGD Gaming win the match against FlyQuest. This market will resolve to "FlyQuest" if FlyQuest win the match against LGD Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 3, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a substantial number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, the odds on Predict may diverge. This difference can arise from access to unique information, differing analytical approaches, or simply a broader range of participants contributing to the price discovery process. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market’s lifecycle.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more traders bet on a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market-making algorithm to ensure there’s always a bid and ask price available, facilitating smooth trading. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust to changing perceptions of the likely winner of the LGD Gaming vs FlyQuest match.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the LGD Gaming vs FlyQuest match – which team wins the BO1 – will be used to determine the winning contract. The platform relies on widely available and trusted sources to verify the final result. Traders who correctly predicted the winner will receive a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. It’s important to monitor news sources leading up to the event to stay informed about any potential factors that could influence the outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either LGD Gaming or FlyQuest could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the tournament format or venue could also play a role. In-game events during other matches in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational, particularly those involving teams with similar playstyles, might also impact perceptions. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning is likely to cause movement in the market.
