Intro

This market tracks whether any player will achieve a quadra kill in Game 5 of the Kits Esports versus 3v Team best-of-five match during the LRN Playoffs. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to “Game 5: Any Player Quadra Kill?”. Resolution will be based on data from https://gol.gg/esports/home. Keep an eye on the start of Game 5, scheduled for August 18, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, as that will determine if the conditions for a quadra kill can even be met and thus resolve this market.

Polymarket

This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket semifinal match between Kits Esports and 3v Team in the LRN Playoffs, initially scheduled for August 18, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Kits Esports" if Kits Esports win the match against 3v Team. This market will resolve to "3v Team" if 3v Team win the match against Kits Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of August 18, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can drive the price on Polymarket in the opposite direction. This can create discrepancies, with prediction market odds potentially offering a more accurate forecast, or simply a different angle on the probabilities of various results in the LoL LRN Playoffs.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders deposit collateral and buy or sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of different outcomes. As more traders participate, the price of these shares adjusts to reflect the collective expectation. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more people buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date assessment of the LoL LRN Playoffs.

This market resolves around Sep 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Kits Esports versus 3v Team BO5 match in the LRN Playoffs. The platform will verify the final results against publicly available and trusted sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for Kits Esports or 3v Team could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the tournament format or venue could also have an impact. Furthermore, strong performances by either team in preceding matches leading up to the LRN Playoffs could drive increased confidence and volume in a specific outcome on Polymarket, causing the odds to adjust accordingly.
