This market tracks whether the total number of games played in the best-of-five League of Legends match between Cloud9 and Karmine Corp will be over or under 3.5 games on the Predict platform. Currently, the probability of “Games Total: O/U 3.5” is 99.0%. Resolution will be based on official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with a fallback to credible reporting if necessary. Keep a close eye on the match itself on October 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, as the outcome hinges on whether the series extends to four or more games.
This market refers to the LoL Upper Bracket Semifinal 2 match between Cloud9 and Karmine Corp in the Worlds Play-In, initially scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Cloud9" if Cloud9 win the match against Karmine Corp. This market will resolve to "Karmine Corp" if Karmine Corp win the match against Cloud9. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to more closely reflect the true probabilities as perceived by informed participants. However, differences can arise due to varying levels of information, biases, and risk appetites between prediction market traders and sportsbook oddsmakers. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks.
On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in each outcome. The price of these contracts reflects the collective prediction of the crowd. Higher demand for a particular outcome will drive up its price, indicating a greater perceived probability of that outcome occurring. Conversely, lower demand will result in a lower price. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the Cloud9 versus Karmine Corp. best-of-five series at the League of Legends Worlds Play-In stage. The winning team, as determined by the official tournament organizers, will be the basis for settlement. Traders should monitor official League of Legends esports channels for the final results and confirmation of the market’s outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either Cloud9 or Karmine Corp. would likely cause price movement. Major upsets in other Worlds Play-In matches could also shift perceptions of team strength and impact the odds. Additionally, significant shifts in public sentiment, potentially driven by analyst predictions or community discussions, could influence trading activity. Finally, any in-game developments during the series itself, such as early game advantages or key player performances, would immediately be reflected in the market.
