However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market is driven purely by participants’ beliefs about the outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially in events where public perception differs from expert analysis. Examining these differences can be insightful, as prediction markets sometimes demonstrate greater accuracy in forecasting event outcomes than traditional methods.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth – the number of shares available at various price points – indicates the level of confidence and liquidity for each outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and predictions.

Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly shift the implied probabilities. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports commentators and updated team lineups released closer to the game could all contribute to price movements as traders react to new information and refine their predictions.
