Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often include a 'vig' or commission built into their odds, designed to ensure their profitability. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective predictions of traders, theoretically representing the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, prediction markets can rapidly incorporate new information and adjust accordingly, sometimes leading to more accurate forecasts. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, reflecting differing opinions and risk assessments.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices fluctuate, providing a dynamic assessment of the event's likelihood. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform doesn’t use any external factors to set prices; it’s entirely driven by supply and demand among users trading on Opinion.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Liverpool vs Arsenal match, as declared by the governing football authorities. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution, while those holding contracts on incorrect outcomes will forfeit their stake.

Several factors could significantly influence this market before the Nov 1, 2026 resolution date. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Liverpool or Arsenal would likely cause a shift in the odds. Unexpected changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather forecasts predicting adverse conditions on match day could all impact trader sentiment. Major news events affecting player morale or team dynamics could also play a role, as could significant betting activity from informed sources.
