This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Premier League match between Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC after 90 minutes of regulation time plus stoppage time. Outcomes include specific scorelines, and 'Any Other Score' if the actual result isn't listed. Postponement leads to market continuation, cancellation to a 0-0 resolution.
In the upcoming Premier League game between Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC, scheduled for October 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Liverpool FC vs. Manchester City FC match originally scheduled for October 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the underlying mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profit, incorporating a margin, while prediction markets are driven by supply and demand. If many traders believe a specific outcome is likely, its price will rise, potentially exceeding sportsbook implied probabilities. This market's volume of $356,450 demonstrates active trading and a dynamic price discovery process. Sportsbooks may also react more slowly to new information or shifts in public opinion compared to the real-time adjustments seen in prediction markets.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. The prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors, including differing user bases, trading volumes, and platform-specific rules or incentives. Polymarket may attract a different type of trader than Predict, leading to varying perspectives on the likelihood of different exact scores. Furthermore, the liquidity—or volume—on each platform impacts price discovery. Even with the same underlying event, these factors can create discrepancies in the odds offered. Currently, Polymarket favors Any Other Score? at 71 percent, while Predict leans toward Liverpool FC 1 - 1 Manchester City FC? at an unlisted percentage.
