In the upcoming Premier League game between Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Liverpool FC vs. Arsenal FC match originally scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 11:30 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own probabilities. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook lines, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. This can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly for less conventional outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and opinions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more traders buy shares of a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at halftime of the Liverpool vs. Arsenal match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football authorities. Any disputes regarding the official result will be handled according to Polymarket’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process for all participants in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Liverpool or Arsenal would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily influence the style of play, could also move the market. Pre-match analysis from reputable football experts and any unexpected lineup announcements could also shift trader sentiment. Finally, any significant betting activity observed in traditional sportsbooks could influence trading behavior on Polymarket.
