Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market evolves as individuals buy and sell contracts based on their own research and insights. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It's common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges closer to the event.
On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders can buy 'yes' contracts (believing 11+ corners will occur) or 'no' contracts (believing fewer than 11 corners will occur). The price of each contract represents the implied probability of that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy 'yes' contracts, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the evolving sentiment of the crowd and provides a real-time assessment of the likelihood of the event happening. The current volume is $0.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final corner count from the Liverpool versus Manchester City match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The official match statistics, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will be used to determine whether 11 or more total corners were awarded during the game. The resolution will reflect the officially recorded number, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market leading up to Oct 12, 2026. Late injury news for key players known for taking corners, tactical changes announced by either manager that suggest a more attacking or defensive approach, or even weather conditions that might favor one style of play could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news regarding refereeing assignments, particularly if the assigned referee is known for awarding a high or low number of corners, could also cause significant movement in this market. Any shifts in public perception or expert analysis could also play a role.
