Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if both Liverpool and Manchester City score at least one goal each during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Premier League match scheduled for October 11, 2026, 15:30 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets more closely reflect the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant difference emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it could signal that traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of both teams scoring. However, it’s important to remember that both represent different forms of forecasting, and discrepancies can arise due to varying information and biases.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of both Liverpool and Manchester City scoring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing means the odds are constantly evolving based on the aggregated judgment of the crowd, rather than being set by a fixed algorithm or bookmaker.

This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Liverpool and Manchester City each score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams found the back of the net. The final result will be based on the official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for this market.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Liverpool or Manchester City would likely have a significant impact. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even weather conditions on match day, could also shift trader sentiment. Furthermore, the results of other recent matches for both teams, and any shifts in public perception regarding their attacking form, could all contribute to movement in this market. Unexpected lineup announcements close to kickoff could also cause rapid price adjustments.
