Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. These differences can arise from varying information sources or differing interpretations of the same data, and can be an indicator of where smart money is flowing.
