All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and change based on new information and trading activity, potentially aligning closer to sportsbook odds as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price is determined entirely by supply and demand within the market, and can fluctuate rapidly based on news, analysis, or even large individual trades. The current top outcome is not available, and the implied probabilities are constantly evolving.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Lille OSC versus Racing Club de Lens match will be used to determine the winning shares. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution timeline, but the platform will aim for a swift and accurate resolution process. Traders should monitor official sources for the match result to understand how this market will settle.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Lille OSC or Racing Club de Lens would certainly have an impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected news related to the broader football landscape, such as referee appointments or controversies, might also play a role. Any significant information that alters the perceived probability of different exact scores has the potential to move this market.
