Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially in the long run. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing participants to make well-informed predictions. While sportsbooks may adjust odds based on factors like public betting patterns or promotional offers, this market reflects a more pure assessment of probabilities based on information available to all participants. However, discrepancies can occur, offering potential value for informed traders.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders regarding the probability of that outcome occurring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.

This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Ligue 1 match between Nice and Rennes will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Nice or Rennes would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected announcements about coaching changes or internal team dynamics could also shift the market. Monitoring these signals can help traders identify potential opportunities.
