Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook lines, it may indicate disagreement about the true probability of an event, or that one venue has incorporated information the other hasn’t. It’s a useful exercise to compare the two to see where the discrepancies lie.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders regarding the likelihood of each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome will occur, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds continuously adjust as new information becomes available.

This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the Lyon vs Angers match, as reported by official sources, will determine the winning outcome. It’s important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available information to ensure a fair and transparent outcome for all participants. Traders should monitor official sources leading up to and following the match to stay informed about the resolution process.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 2, 2026. News regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Lyon or Angers would likely have a significant impact. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market.
