Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the wisdom of the crowd versus the assessments of professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks typically set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced the event, the odds here will adjust accordingly, potentially offering value for informed bettors. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before major events or when new information emerges.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices fluctuate, providing a dynamic assessment of the event's potential results. The current price movements indicate where the majority of traders believe the value lies in predicting the final result of the Lille vs Le Havre match.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Ligue 1 match between Lille and Le Havre, as reported by official league sources. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market prices.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before the Oct 11, 2026 resolution.
