In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Liechtenstein and Gibraltar, scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Liechtenstein vs. Gibraltar match originally scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from sportsbook odds, which are often set by analysts with potential biases. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting percentages or promotional considerations into their lines, whereas this market is driven purely by individuals wagering their own capital. If there is a significant discrepancy between the two, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional forecasts over time.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract reflects the current market consensus on its probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing beliefs. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market maker system to ensure there is always a bid and ask price available, facilitating continuous trading. The more volume traded on a particular outcome, the more confidence the market has in its likelihood.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Liechtenstein vs. Gibraltar match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by the governing football association, ensuring an objective and verifiable outcome. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed by Predict’s resolution process, but the goal is to align with widely accepted sources of truth.
Several signals could influence this market before Oct 5, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Liechtenstein or Gibraltar would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match tactical announcements from the managers, could lead to adjustments in the probabilities. Significant betting activity, even from a few large traders, can also move this market.
