Often, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while Polymarket allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. This can lead to differences in implied probabilities, especially when there's significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. It's common to see this market diverge from initial sportsbook offerings as new information becomes available and traders refine their assessments.

Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Libertad Loja or Guayaquil City FC would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily influence the style of play, could also move the market. Public sentiment and betting patterns elsewhere could also play a role.
