Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting biases or promotional considerations, whereas this market aims to represent the true probability of each exact score. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the two can provide a broader perspective on the likely outcome of the Lexington SC vs. El Paso match, but remember each represents a different form of forecasting.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Lexington SC vs. El Paso match is verifiable from credible public reporting.
