Prediction market odds often provide a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the outcome, the prediction market odds will diverge. It's common to see differences, especially early in the market's life, as information becomes available and traders refine their assessments. Comparing the two can highlight potential value or discrepancies in the perceived probabilities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective expectation. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand within Polymarket, and can fluctuate rapidly based on new information or shifts in sentiment. This creates a dynamic and informative view of expectations for the Levshyn vs. Kohut match.
This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
