In the upcoming La Liga game between Levante UD and Sevilla FC, scheduled for October 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Levante UD vs. Sevilla FC match originally scheduled for October 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and public betting patterns, while this market allows individuals to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or team updates that could influence the outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic pricing system based on collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Levante UD vs. Sevilla FC match will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data source, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants. The market will then settle, and winning shares will be redeemable for the corresponding payout.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Levante UD or Sevilla FC would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or managerial decisions could also move the market. Furthermore, any significant shifts in public opinion, as reflected in sports news and analysis, could affect trading activity and the prices of shares in this market.
