In the upcoming La Liga game between Levante UD and Athletic Club, scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Levante UD vs. Athletic Club match originally scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying levels of information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may emerge, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and can shift rapidly based on new information and trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact first-half score. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s collective assessment of that outcome's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a real-time gauge of expectations. The market’s depth and liquidity, indicated by the trading volume, also influence price discovery and stability.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or tactical changes could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role. Furthermore, late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts could impact the perceived probabilities. Even general football news and analysis, or shifts in public sentiment, can contribute to price movements in this market as traders adjust their positions based on the latest information.
