Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and profit margins, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each market. If you find a significant difference between the odds here and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate an opportunity for value betting, or suggest that the crowd on Polymarket has a different expectation than the general public.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is determined by the share price relative to 1; a share priced at 0.70 indicates a 70% probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market efficiently incorporates new information.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The platform will then verify the result and settle the market accordingly, distributing payouts to those who correctly predicted the outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will be settled.
