On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is entirely driven by supply and demand, with no central bookmaker setting the odds. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key attacking players for either Leicester City FC or Peterborough United FC, would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also shift sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, potentially impacting the style of play, might influence trading activity. Unexpected tactical announcements from either manager could also move this market as traders adjust their expectations.
