In the upcoming match between Leeds United FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Leeds United FC" if Leeds United FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Tottenham Hotspur FC" if Tottenham Hotspur FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome, potentially leading to more efficient pricing. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or changing circumstances than sportsbooks, as the collective intelligence of traders adjusts the probabilities in real-time.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome – in this case, either Leeds United FC or Tottenham Hotspur FC scoring first in the second half. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions are correct. The current implied probability of Tottenham Hotspur FC scoring first is 48.5%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Leeds United FC versus Tottenham Hotspur FC match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The market will then settle, and shares will be redeemed based on the winning outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to Nov 7, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Leeds United FC or Tottenham Hotspur FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even unexpected weather conditions on match day, could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, live updates during the first half of the match – such as red cards or early goals – will undoubtedly lead to significant price movements as traders react to the evolving game state.
