Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market's prices are determined by supply and demand among individuals making predictions. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or inside information not yet factored into sportsbook lines. Analyzing these differences can be a useful strategy for informed betting, but remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book, where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract fluctuates based on supply and demand – if more people believe both teams will score, the price increases, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism means the odds are constantly updating, reflecting the latest information and sentiment. The current price represents the market's aggregate forecast for the likelihood of both Leeds and Manchester United scoring in the match.

This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Leeds and Manchester United score at least one goal during the match. Official match data from reputable sports news sources will be used to determine if both teams have scored. The final result will be based on the official game statistics, ensuring a fair and accurate settlement of this market.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Key player injuries or suspensions for either Leeds or Manchester United would likely have a significant impact. Any news regarding team formations, tactical changes, or manager comments could also shift the odds. Furthermore, unexpected weather conditions or even pre-match betting patterns in traditional sportsbooks might cause traders on Limitless to adjust their positions. A late surge in goals scored by either team in previous matches could also affect sentiment and drive price movement in this market.
