This market will resolve according to which map is played the fewest times across all official matches of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China. The competitive map pool for VALORANT Champions 2026 consists of Abyss, Ascent, Haven, Lotus, Split, Summit, and Sunset. Every completed map in every official match of the tournament (Group Stage and Playoffs) counts once, regardless of its result or whether it went to overtime. Maps that are forfeited or awarded without being played do not count. A map in the pool that is not played at all counts as having been played zero times. If two or more maps are tied for the fewest plays, this market will resolve to the map whose name comes first alphabetically. If the map played the fewest times is not listed in this market (e.g., due to a map pool change), this market will resolve to "Other". If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be the official match results and per-map statistics on vlr.gg (https://www.vlr.gg/event/2766/valorant-champions-2026). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Currently, it’s difficult to draw direct comparisons between this market and traditional sportsbooks, as sportsbooks are not yet offering odds on the specific outcome of which map will be least played at VALORANT Champions. However, general sentiment from esports analysts suggests that certain maps are consistently favored or avoided in competitive play. This market allows for a more precise quantification of those beliefs, as traders directly express their predictions with real capital. If sportsbook odds become available, it will be interesting to see how they align with the wisdom of the crowd reflected in this market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in a particular map being the least played. As more shares are bought for a specific map, its price increases, indicating a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of all traders participating in the market, creating a dynamic and real-time prediction. The market’s efficiency is driven by participants seeking to profit from accurate predictions, leading to prices that ideally reflect the true likelihood of each outcome.
This market resolves around Nov 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official VALORANT Champions 2026 broadcast and data, determining which map was played the fewest times throughout the entire tournament. The official VCT schedule and match results will serve as the definitive source for determining the least played map. Traders should monitor official announcements and tournament coverage as the event progresses to stay informed.
Several factors could influence this market. Major announcements regarding map rotations in professional play, changes to team compositions that favor or disfavor certain maps, and even unexpected player performances could all shift trader sentiment. Any news regarding potential rule changes impacting map selection during the VALORANT Champions tournament could also have a significant effect. Furthermore, the release of patch notes introducing map-specific balance adjustments could cause substantial price movement in this market as traders reassess the likelihood of each map being played.
