In the upcoming match between Le Havre AC and FC Lorient, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Le Havre AC" if Le Havre AC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "FC Lorient" if FC Lorient are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as an event approaches. However, sportsbook odds are established by professional oddsmakers, and initially, they may differ from those on Polymarket. These differences can stem from varying levels of information, biases, or simply differing methodologies. As more information becomes available and more traders participate in this market, the odds on Polymarket often converge with those offered by sportsbooks, though discrepancies can still occur due to market-specific factors and differing risk assessments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current top outcome, as indicated by the highest implied probability, is Le Havre AC vs. FC Lorient: Neither team to score first in the 2nd half?, with a chance percentage of 48.5%. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team, if any, scores the first goal in the second half of the Le Havre AC vs. FC Lorient match. If neither team scores in the second half, that outcome will be considered the result. The resolution will be based on official match data and verified against trusted sports news sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and odds in this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either Le Havre AC or FC Lorient would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected events during the first half of the match, such as a red card or an early goal, could dramatically alter the perceived probabilities and cause substantial movement in this market. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding potential shifts in the odds.
