Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs and adjust the price based on new information. The difference between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook implied probabilities can sometimes highlight discrepancies in perceived value or information advantages. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new developments emerge.
