On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it, constantly refining the perceived probability.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Lazebnyi vs. Rak match, as determined by the governing sports authority. The platform will then verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the market settlement. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their stake.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team strategy, or even weather conditions impacting the match could influence trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player availability, particularly for key players, would likely cause a rapid shift in the odds. Furthermore, any significant upsets in related matches or tournaments could also impact the perceived probabilities, leading to increased trading volume and price fluctuations in this market.
