Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of how each type of market operates. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding team news or injuries.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Lask Linz and Liverpool will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective probability assigned by traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the implied probability of the event occurring, and traders aim to profit by correctly predicting the outcome and capitalizing on any mispricing they identify. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market reflects the latest information and sentiment.

This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Lask Linz and Liverpool score at least one goal each during the match. Official match data from reputable sports news sources will be used to determine the final result. The market will then be settled based on this verified information, and winning contracts will be paid out accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final match result to understand the resolution process.

Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Lask Linz or Liverpool would likely cause movement. Changes in team form, tactical approaches, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before the match, or even significant pre-match commentary from managers, could trigger shifts in the odds. A major upset in another related match could also influence perceptions of team strength and affect volume in this market.
