This event tracks rushing yard milestones for specific players in an upcoming Pro Football game. The outcome depends on whether designated players achieve particular rushing yard thresholds during the full match, including any overtime periods.
All markets resolve based on whether the named player records the specified rushing yard threshold at any point during the entire game, including overtime. Each contract is designated as protected: if a player participates in at least one play during the first half but does not participate in any play after the first half (including overtime), the contract resolves to the fair price set before the game’s opening kickoff unless the player meets the rushing yard requirement, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. If the player participates in any play after the first half, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of first-half involvement. Participation in a play nullified by penalty does not count, and a player who never participates is subject to the fair price non-participation rule. The protected designation applies only to full-game contracts with an above or at-least payout criterion.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, creating a real-time assessment of probabilities. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a contract that pays out if the corresponding outcome is realized. The market depth shows the available buy and sell orders at different price points, giving traders insight into the potential for price movement.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final rushing yard totals for the players involved in the Las Vegas versus New York game will be sourced from official NFL statistics. The market will determine which outcome—the total rushing yards falling within a specified range—is the correct one based on these verified statistics. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will receive a payout based on the contract price at resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding injuries to key running backs on either the Las Vegas or New York teams would likely cause substantial price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they predict inclement conditions, could also influence trading activity, as weather impacts running game effectiveness. Unexpected coaching decisions regarding play-calling strategies could also shift perceptions of likely rushing yardage totals. Finally, any late-breaking news about player matchups or defensive schemes could lead to adjustments in the market as traders react to the latest information.
