These markets track whether either team in an upcoming football game achieves specific offensive yardage thresholds. The outcomes depend solely on the total yards each team gains during the game, reflecting offensive performance metrics.
All markets resolve based on the total offensive yards recorded by either Las Vegas or New England in their Pro Football game scheduled for October 11, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold (ranging from 250 to 450 yards) for each team; if a team meets or exceeds its respective threshold, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. Postponements are accounted for: if the game starts within 48 hours of the original time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within this window, all markets resolve to a fair price. The markets are independent of league affiliations, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading based on their own analysis and information. As such, you may find that the implied probabilities on Kalshi diverge from those offered by sportsbooks, potentially offering opportunities for value betting if you believe the market has mispriced the outcome. It's important to compare both to form your own informed opinion.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the total yards gained by each team. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, with higher prices indicating a greater perceived likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis, leading to dynamic price fluctuations. The market efficiently aggregates this collective intelligence, providing a real-time assessment of the potential outcome of the Las Vegas versus New England game.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official total yards for both the Las Vegas and New England teams are verifiable from credible public reporting following the completion of their game. The final yardage totals, as reported by official league sources, will determine the winning contracts. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on objective data, ensuring a fair and accurate outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Las Vegas or New England teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly those predicting adverse conditions, could also shift expectations. Furthermore, updates on team strategies or coaching decisions, as well as any late-breaking news related to team performance, could all contribute to price fluctuations in this market. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for traders seeking to capitalize on new information.
