Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as more information becomes available and more people participate. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches, offering potential value for informed traders.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand. More traders buying a contract will drive up its price, indicating greater confidence in that outcome, while increased selling pressure will lower the price. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective intelligence of the participants.

This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the Elche vs Celta Vigo match will be used to determine the winning contract. The platform will verify the final score against trusted sources to ensure an accurate and transparent resolution. Traders holding the winning contract will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at resolution.

Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or even weather conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment.
